How to use Vegetable Topsoil
Developing new vegetable beds
- Clear away any large stones or rocks and fork over the existing soil.
- Spread out Earth Cycle Vegetable Topsoil to a depth of 3-4cm for root vegetables.
- Spread the Vegetable Topsoil in spring or autumn for best growing conditions.
Lightening heavy soil
- You can use our vegetable topsoil to lighten heavy clay soils and improve workability by digging it in. However, our Compost Soil Conditioner or Compost Mulch can also be used for this job.
