Why you need to use Playarea Woodfibre

We are leading suppliers of quality ethical garden products such as Playarea Woodfibre. This product is suitable for use with play equipment in all rural, urban and exposed sites.

The Playarea Woodfibre we supply is free draining and provides a clean play surface all year long and is produced from a blend of hardwood and softwood species, with 90% of particles falling within the range of 8-20mm.

This hard-wearing product is free of all foreign matter such as large stones, plastic, glass and any other extraneous materials, and is free from pests, pathogens and weed seeds.

Features

• Typical particle size is 8-20mm
• Produced from a blend of hardwood and softwood species
• Complies with BS EN 1177 industry standard
• Fines content less than 5% (less than 8mm)
• Free of all foreign matter such as large stones, plastic, glass and any other extraneous materials*
• pH range is between 5.0 and 6.0
• Free from pathogens, pests and weed seeds
• Free draining and provides a clean play surface all year long

* Whilst all practical measures are taken to remove foreign matter such as metal, glass and plastic we cannot guarantee the complete absence of all extraneous material. The total amount will not exceed 0.2% by weight.

Earth Cycle work in partnership with the Woodhorn Group to provide ethically produced products across the UK.

Our products are delivered in convenient bulk bags being able to fit 750 litres or 1 cubic meter depending on the product.

We also offer a variety of products as well as Playarea Woodfibre such as Compost Mulch, Turf Dressing and Soil Conditioners. We deliver all our products nationally and all of the prices for our products are inclusive of VAT.
